Danielle is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and received her BA from LSU in 2011. She is an experienced performer for young audiences, having played such roles as Pinkalicious, Junie B. Jones, Pippi Longstocking, Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, and Miss Clavel in Madeline. Danielle's teaching experience ranges from private lessons to summer camps to public schools, working with students from PreK to 6th grade. Before moving to North Carolina in 2017, Danielle spent three years as the Education Director for a professional children's theatre, where her programming reached over 15,000 students annually.
Coach Derek is a Charlotte native. He attended and played soccer at East Mecklenburg HS before moving on to the University of North Carolina Charlotte. Coach Derek has a great reputation in the Charlotte area for developing kids of all ages. He started his coaching career with the Mecklenburg Union Futbol Club before moving on to his current role as Director of Coaching for the Wesley Chapel Weddington Athletic Association. At WCWAA he has helped develop programs for kids ranging from 6-18 years old.
Coach Derek is instrumental in developing our coaches, working with our school directors, and adding new schools to our Happy Feet Family. His passion for developing Brave, Creative, Leaders makes him a huge asset in our Happy Feet Family.
A lifelong soccer player, Casey brings passion for the game and more than ten years of experience as a soccer coach to HappyFeet. Casey first joined HappyFeet when his wife Kristy and he took over HappyFeet Charlotte turning it into one of the best youth development companies in Charlotte, NC. Casey has worked with boys and girls of all ages and abilities, earning impressive tournament wins, and coaching numerous Olympic Development Players, college scholarship players, current professionals and most importantly some incredible young men and women. A Division I defender for DePaul University in Chicago, IL, and member of the Conference USA All Freshmen team, Casey grew up playing in the soccer hot bed of St. Louis, MO.
With a corporate background in finance, sales and management, Casey also brings an emphasis on integrity, character, creativity and leadership development. He holds a bachelor of science degree in finance from DePaul University and has works with professional sports organizations around the globe.
Quentin Reynolds, Coach
Coach Q was born and raised in Holly Springs, NC, and grew up playing in the soccer-frenzy environment of Raleigh. He started playing when he was four years old and spent his high school years playing for the FVAA Flash Red (now NC Alliance) gaining experience at the state, regional and national level. Q went on to play in college at UNC Asheville, where he played all four years, and earned academic and NCAA honors. He graduated in 2015 with a degree in Psychology and Neuroscience, and is currently continuing his education at the UNC School of Medicine as an MD candidate, with a focus in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy. Q has been working with children of all ages in therapy settings as a Theraputic Technician and mentor, as well as a coach in the Asheville and Raleigh area and takes that experiene into his HappyFeet classroom daily.
